You First Marketing designs and creates the fan zone for FC Barcelona’s US Tour preseason. Barcelona played its first match against Juventus in New York, after that against Manchester United in Washington DC, and the last one was against Real Madrid in Miami: the first friendly clasico within the last 25 years. At the end, Barça won the three games raising the International Champions Cup trophee.
The fan zone opened to all the fans prior to the matches and consisted of mini games, a photobooth, and a chance to see some of Barca’s trophies. The first fan zone in New York was a great success, attracting over 20,000 fans. The one in Miami was the biggest with two tents full of activities, one inside the Hard Rock Stadium and the other one in Casa Clasico (a big space where all the sponsors and teams met before the game). There were also some freestylers playing with a FC Barcelona t-shirt and surprising the fans (over 20.000) who could also sign in a huge Barça’s shield. The 29 of July was the last match against Real Madrid. The fan zone atracted over 12.000 fans.
