This year’s NBA draft was another successful night. Five YouFirst Client’s—Justin Patton, Edmund Summer, Jawun Evans, Davon Reed, and Jaron Blossomgame— were all triumphantly drafted into the NBA.
20-year-old Justin Patton was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the impressive 16th pick, but was immediately traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Patton, who played college basketball with the Creighton Bluejays, attained a 12.9 points-per-game average this season.
22-year-old Davon Reed, averaged a 14.9 points per game this season. Reed played college basketball with the Miami Hurricanes and was drafted by the Phoenix Suns as the 32nd pick.
20-year-old Jawun Evans was drafted as the 39th pick by the Philadelphia 76ers but was immediately traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Evans, as a freshman at Oklahoma State University, averaged 12.9 points, 4.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game.
21-year-old Edmond Sumner had an impressive season with Xavier University, alike Reed, he averaged 14.9 points per game. Sumner was selected as the 52nd pick by the New Orleans Pelicans during the draft but was then subsequently traded to the Indiana Pacers.
Finally, 23-year-old Jaron Blossomgame was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs as the 59th pick. Blossomgame played college basketball with Clemson University and averaged a magnificent 17.7 points-per-game, leading the Tigers into the 2017 National Invitation Tournament.
30-year-old Timo Mozgov was traded from the LA Lakers to the Brooklyn Nets the night of the draft. Mozgov, secured an average of 7.4 points-per-game and 4.9 rebounds playing an average of 20.4 minutes throughout his 54 games this season
