The 24-year-old target man has a current tally of seven goals in six matches since the resumption of the league, scoring at least one goal in every match. Zeballos' scoring form has been so overwhelming to some fans that he was recently sent death threats calling on him to stop scoring following the derby win over Cerro Porteno , for whom he had played last season.
According to IMScouting's efficiency report, Zeballos is ranked as the 12th most efficient scorer in the world, scoring a goal every 74.14 minutes. Zeballos started his youth career playing for Sol de America and played for the senior side after turning 16, helping the team win the Paraguayan 2nd division title in 2006 as the team's top scorer.
Zeballos was then quickly snatched up by Mexican giants Cruz Azul, but although he scored 17 goals in Mexico he was sent back to Paraguay on-loan to play for Cerro Porteno .The Paraguayan quickly became one of the Division Profesional's top scorers with 24 goals in both the Apertura and Clausura, only to sign a permanent deal with Olimpia the following year.
Zeballos is a fast and technical player who has a great first touch and is a proficient penalty taker. He is a dominant forward, who can be relied upon when it really counts.
