Racing Santander's new Indian owner and Mr. Revilla, Cantabrian president, had participated in the Foro Cantabria, organized by SER Spanish radio, in which Mr. Ali has accept to discuss about issues as their point of view in business matters, his potential investments outside of football and even the political situation in Bahrain.
Ahsan Ali Syed, the founder and chairman of investment company Western Gulf Advisory who became Racing's majority shareholder at the end of last month, told that “Bahrain is a very stable country. It is very wrong compare my economic decisions for Racing de Santander, with the circumstances in Bahrain. I’m proud of Bahrain, I’m proud of the ruling family, they are doing great job, and Bahrain is as stable as Spain. Don’t believe the rumours. Bahrain is very stable. My family lives in Bahrain and many families live in Bahrain and is very peaceful place”.
Ali Syed continues: “I’m very proud of the ruling family for providing such an excellent opportunity for foreign business companies to work in a comfortable environment In Bahrain. I salute them for this”.
Regarding sports issues, Racing will play next weekend against Real Madrid and Mr. Ali Syed has answered the entire question: “For me, Racing is the best team. You could make a comparison with other teams but for me is the best. Next weekend against Real Madrid, the one who play better in 90 minutes will win. It will not be a surprise if Racing beats Real Madrid”.
