Chica: "We're getting closer to the dream"

Real Betis are closing in on a European spot and full back, Javier Chica, who is represented by You First Sports, explains that a place in next year's Europa League is the team's target with only a couple of games to go. "We're getting closer to the dream. We're doing well and if we can't win, we must draw. We're putting our hearts and souls into these last few matches. We have to do this for the fans. Teams like Betis, who have suffered a lot with injuries, have had a tough time this year. We hope to seal our place in Europe as soon as possible".
Betis' next opponent is Real Mallorca, who are currently sitting bottom of the league and are fighting to keep their place in the top flight of Spanish football. But Chica isn't taking them lightly and anticipates a hard fought match: "Mallorca are a complicated team to play, it's a difficult pitch to play on. Mallorca have a lot riding on this match and so we have to take things one step at a time. We're going to give it our all. Mallorca are going to want to play well and will die fighting".

Chico Flores named best newcomer of the year at Swansea City

Swansea City's annual awards dinner took place last night at the Liberty Stadium. The welshmen have completed a spectacular season, lifting the Capital One Cup after defeating Bradford City 5-0 in the final at Wembley, and, in doing so, booking their place in next year's Europa League. On top of that achievement, the swans are bound to finish the Premier League inside the top ten, meaning that Michael Laudrup's first season at the helm has been an extremely successful one.
Keeping in mind the team's performance in this 2012/13 season, being named in the season-ending award ceremony is no mean feat. But Chico Flores' phenomenal season in the heart of defence has not gone unnoticed and the player represented by You First Sports has been named the best newcomer of the year at Swansea City, the icing on the cake to a perfect season.

Valencia are in the middle of a dog fight for the final Champions League spot in the Liga BBVA which goes to the fourth placed team. The main threat for the valencians comes in the shape of Real Sociedad, who are currently equal on points (59) but ahead because of a better head-to-head goal difference, with three games to go.
The team is brimming with confidence though after two succesive 4-0 wins against Rayo Vallecano and Osasuna and will fight to the bitter end. "I think this is our best moment. We've scored eight goals in two matches and we're doing well. We could win or lose, but we're always going to do our best", expresses You First Sports client and Valencia midfielder, José Andrés Guardado.
The Mexican is pleased with the team's and his personal performance in the last couple of games: "I'm happy with the work the team is putting in, because it gets results and we're still in the fight for a Champions League spot, and I'm pleased with my goal, I was keen to score".

Valencia CF visited the Estadio de Vallecas to take on Rayo in Sunday's midday clash and the visitors didn't encounter too many problems as they repeated the score from their previous match against Osasuna to ease to a 4-0 win.
One of the stars of the show was the footballer represented by You First Sports, José Andrés Guardado. The Mexican created the second goal when he picked up the ball in his own half and stormed down the left flank, after combining with Pablo Piatti, crossing the ball for Roberto Soldado, who simply had to push the ball into an empty goal in the 33rd minute. The left-footed Guardado, who has been playing as a left back this season, finished the game in his natural position of left wing and made the most of his position on the field to score the third goal of the match, achieving his first official goal for Valencia. Guardado received the ball inside the box and, after Rubén parried his first shot, the Mexican got on the end of the rebound and dribbled past Rayo's keeper to put the ball into the empty net in the 61st minute.
With this win Valencia move up to fourth place on the table, awaiting Real Sociedad's score in tonight's game.

Fazio: ´We want and need to be in Europa. We´re going to give it our all´

Sevilla player, Federico Fazio was pleased with his team´s win in the 34th round of the Liga BBVA against Espanyol with a (3-0) result, a match that saw Sevilla rack up goals early on the score board, keeping a clean sheet: ´It was really important to get those three points. We had five matches left and now four. We were on the same points as Espanyol and we needed those points. A draw or a loss would have left us with very few options, but we went for the win´.
A part from a defeat at the hands of Atletico de Madrid, Sevilla´s run at home this season has been brilliant, but Fazio said the team has to keep it up this Sunday in La Rosaleda: ´We know we do well at home, in front of our fans. We´ve had a good run at home and we had to go for it from the first minute. We had lots of chances and we were able to open up the game and dominate. We are really pleased and now we have to focus on Malaga´. The defender, from Argentina, said that the team is determined to fight for a Europa spot until the very end of the season: ´It will be really important to get those three points away, because our away games haven´t been bringing in good results lately and we have to change that. If we want to be in the top spots we have to work hard. We have our options and we want and need to be in Europa. We´re going to give it our all´.
